The Mouth of Truth
Art Photography
print taken by Robert I. Brudd in Rome Italy. The Bocca della Verità
(Mouth of Truth), which is a marble carving, has origins that are unknown. Made
around the 1600's. Called the Mouth of Truth because: anybody who inserts ones own
hand into the mouth and proceeded to lie, would loose their hand; for, the mouth
would bite down. Picture size is 12"x9". Comes with frame and glass. Frame
is made out of solid oak and stained to a dark finish on face and sides. Sides
also have a
gold or yellow finish. White matting is 1/4" thick and is made out of cloth. This

glass TruVue. This glass helps prevent the damaging effects of ultraviolet radiation

His Domain
Leo Stans Print and earlier works of art. Signed by the artist in
dark pencil or pen on the white border. From what I have seen or thought, this print
was supposed to be a limited edition, but it is not numbered like others I have
seen, is it limited or not? Leo Stans has been a professional artist for over
25 years. Paintings have included wildlife, golf, cityscape, and land art. Resides
in Minnesota. Professionally framed wild life art print, contains two mats, backing, glass,
and two wall hangers already attached to the frame. Frame size is 22"x18". Leo Stans
art increases in financial value as time goes by. A great investment with little
risk. Frame and print near mint condition.

For Arrangements
Martin Glen Loates
Medium
sized print. Plausibly a polychrome lithograph on paper. Double matted. Light green
with oak frame work. Picture is in excellent condition and frame work is in very
good condition. Frame is natural oak. Signed print by artist in 1967. Location
of drawing is from North Sound Island British Columbia. Date was November 1932.
Picture size with frame is about 25.5" inches or 63.5 cm in length, height is 20"
inches or 50.8 cm. What has been said about M.G. Loates? Les Line, former editor
of Audubon Magazine in New York stated: "I have been frequently asked to name the
best nature artist. To do so, even were I willing, is patently impossible. For one
thing, there are artists who specialize in birds, in plants, in fishes and other
marine life. There are even artists who paint little else but charging elephants
and stalking lions. But there are very few nature artists capable of portraying
any subject with great skill, imagination and accuracy, who can capture the being
of a blue jay, cougar, salmon, lily, or moth with equal excellence. And there is
none better in this elite category than Martin Glen Loates...What leaps from the
paintings is the essence, the vitality, and the place of animal. It's Life!"
That in part, is a quote worth owning and displaying in the place of residence or
business.
